While in Charleston I intended to do something fun for our 27 week photo, but it just didn't happen. So, I'm going to include some of the pictures from our trip.

27 Weeks
Last week Nathan and I were able to go on our last vacation (babymoon) as just the two of us. :) We went to Charleston for a long realaxing weekend. The weather was gorgeous all day Friday and Saturday...I may or may not have gotten a farmer tan/burn. Throughout the weekend we were able to explore the city seeing the famous pineapple fountain at waterfront park, battery park, and shopping at the market. Probably one of my favorite things that we got to do was visit Fort Sumter. I know that makes me sound like a S.S. geek, but I'm teaching the Civil War right now. My students absolutely loved seeing the pictures of Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. I also took full advantage of my excuse to eat a lot and gain weight...we pigged out!!! Most evenings ending with snacking on oreos, little debbies, and frosted animal crackers. I'm sure when I'm trying to loose the baby weight I will regret that decision, but for right now i'm enjoying it.

25 Weeks
How
far along? 25 Weeks 5 days
Total weight gain: 18 lbsMaternity clothes? Wearing almost all maternity pants but I can still fit into several of my own tops. The shirt in this pic is not a maternity top, but it was bought in a larger size than I normally wear. I bought it when we were several weeks pregnant but not telling anyone yet. I felt really chubby and uncomfortable, so I wanted to conceal the chub.
Stretch marks? not yet
Sleep: Sleeping ok...I really need to get a body pillow. I think that would help with the lack of comfort I am experiencing. I also wake up every night to go to the bathroom.
Best moment this week: Nathan and I seeing my belly move from the outside as baby girl is moving around. She is moving more and more :)
Miss Anything? Not this week
Movement: Baby girl seems to move more when I am laying down or still. I feel lots of movement in the afternoon and evening.
Food cravings: Still craving sweets a lot, but most I just want to eat all the time. It's really hard not to come home from school and snack nonstop until supper.
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: After laying on one side my hips are sore. I roll around a lot at night trying to stay comfortable. My feet are swelling terribly by the end of the day.
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on - I think once the warm weather gets into full swing this will change.
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY!
Looking forward to: my first consignment sale experience...hopefully we will find some cheap nursery furniture

24 Weeks
This week was my spring break. It was nice to see friends and family in Indiana that we don't get to see all that often. I loved spending Easter Sunday with my grandparents and attending the church I grew up in and both my parents and I got married in.
How far along? 24 weeks, 6 daysTotal weight gain/loss: I wasn't able to weigh myself due to being out of town
Maternity clothes? I've been wearing more and more maternity clothes since packing on the lbs lately. Luckily, I've been given several bags of maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: recently I've been waking up at night due to sore hips
Best moment this week: My nieces loving on the baby bump
Miss anything? i've really wanted to sit out on our deck drinking coffee all morning
Movement: Yes
Food cravings: While at home Jiffy Treat was high on the list of places to visit. I discovered a new cyclone flavor I love Mud Pie. It has coffee ice cream with crushed oreos and chocolate. YUM!!!
Have you started to show yet? yes
Labor signs: no
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Weekly wisdom: I guess it would be when packing for a trip try on all outfits you're taking to make sure things still fit. I know I had said that back in Jan. but it's still true and I still forget to do it.
Looking forward to: continuing to prepare for baby girl
23 Weeks
Sorry this post is so late. It's been a busy few weeks. Week 23 was the last week of March. Paula and Louis...my wonderful second set of parents came down on their spring break to help us get the nursery ready. I want to give a big THANKS to them and my wonderful husband for all their hard work!!! They worked very hard all week to update the closet, put in a new window, add a couple new doors, and paint the trim and walls. As you can see in the background of this pic we chose a grey for the walls. We will add some hot and light pink as the decorating continues. Also, I look terrible in this picture but it was getting so late in the week that it was now or never.
How far along? 23 weeks, 4 daysTotal weight gain/loss: 16 lbs
Maternity clothes? Again, mostly just the black dress pants but more and more of my clothes are getting tighter.
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: pretty good still
Best moment this week: Nathan feeling the baby kick for the first time :)
Miss anything? nope
