18 weeks

First, I want to say how thankful I am to those of you who regularly read my blog. Second, I want to apologize for not getting the 18 week post up. Due to last week being incredibly busy, I failed to get a chalkboard ready or take a picture. Again, I want to apologize. I will try my best to be better about getting the post done early on in the week so that doesn't happen again.

On a funnier note, West End had their annual talent show Friday night. I participated in the 'old fart' skit for the second year in a row. Our performance was waterless synchronized swimming...it was very fun and humorous! I will post a pic when I get one from the other girls (I forgot my camera). We entered the auditorium as old ladies in bathrobes. Once on stage, we busted off the bathrobes and jumped into the 'water'. OH and I forgot to mention that under the bathrobes our swimsuits are stuffed in strategic places. Then, the song Gangnam Style came on and the old ladies busted out their dance moves. My team teacher's husband got it on video. If I can figure out how to load that onto here, I will post it later. Hope that gave you a nice mental image!

Just wanted to put an invite out there to all of you who read my blog. Nathan and I are very excited to learn the gender of our baby on March 8th!!! To celebrate, we are having a gender revealing party at our house on March 10th. I know most (if not all) of you that read this are long distance, but you're all welcome to come. Don't worry if you are not able to make it, I will include a post about it. :)

17 Weeks

How far along? 17 Weeks, 6 Days-Baby is the size of an onion this week, but I thought this board seemed more fun. :) I know Nathan loves it! Oh and yes, our baby will love Hanson. Ha ha
Total weight gain/loss: 5.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? No
Stretch marks? No...i've started applying cocoa butter daily. Hope that helps!
Sleep: very well
Best moment this week: Scheduling our 20 week ultrasound to find out the gender
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Shopping for spring and summer clothes. I don't feel like it's time to buy maternity clothes yet, but I can't buy any cute regular sized clothes either.
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: Pickles have tasted very good this week. I've eaten almost a whole jar since Monday.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: yes
Gender prediction: No
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy....on our Valentine's Day date, I got really giggly during dinner.
Weekly Wisdom: A few ladies from church have encouraged me to go ahead and buy maternity pants because they are comfy and the pregnancy seems more real. Right now, I'm wearing my fat jeans and they say that makes you feel like you're just getting chubby rather than pregnant.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender on March 8th and our gender revealing party on March 10th!

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender in a few weeks :)

15 Weeks

My belly appears so much larger in pictures than in real life. Also, sorry for the terrible chalkboard and bad pic this week. The post and pic are so late, so I felt I had to use it and move on or it would be week 16 before we took the pic.

Maternity clothes? No
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: During the storms Wed. I slept from about 3:30-7 pm. It was wonderful, but then I couldn't fall asleep at bedtime.

Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Not that I can think of this week
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: MMM had some more bacon last night. YUM!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: a little....clearly looks that way in the pic, but I don't see it as much in the mirror
Gender prediction: Several people have said they think it's a girl....especially based on the heartbeat
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been somewhat moody this week. My students have been very frustrating this week.
